Building the plane

Happy 2010!
Using a new camera is like trying to reign in a wild horse. I'm re-learning what I thought I already knew... slowly. I'm trying not to get frustrated. The plan is that every week I will ipck a new feature of this camera and work it to death. That should do it! These were shot with a Canon 7D, with 18-55mm and 50mm f/1.8 lenses. I worked in aperture priority and tinkered with the ISO to see what it could do. Trying to get my skills back isn't easy, but for Christmas I got a great book to help me. And giving myself assignments like these sure helps.

Dad and daughter build a plane...

Happy with the result? It flies!
